Hello, My name is Andrea Buday I was born and raised in Fort Wayne where I attended St. Henry grade school and Bishop Luers High School. I received an associate degree in general studies from IPFW and my bachelor’s degree in Education from Western Governor’s University 2014. My husband Jeff and I have been married for 25 years and we have three children Gabrielle, Sabine, and George. I started my teaching journey by substitute teaching at St. John the Baptist School Fort Wayne, where our three children attended. I was encouraged by our priest, Fr. Cyril Fernandez to go back to school and pursue a teaching career in the diocese.
Upon completion of my degree, I was offered a position at St. Therese to teach second grade. I taught there for seven years and was so blessed to be able to prepare the children for two sacraments. I was humbled to have been the recipient of the Light of Learning Award twice during my time at St. Therese. I am looking forward to becoming a part of the Most Precious Blood community and continuing to teach second grade. I am excited to grow in this beautiful faith filled community. I consider it a privilege and an honor to teach your children.
