My name is Sondra Federspiel. I received my degree in education from Purdue University Fort Wayne, when it was still called IPFW. I began teaching in the 90's at St. John the Baptist New Haven. It was there that I met my Husband, Bill. I taught at St. John’s for eight years until my husband and I started our family. I was very fortunate to be able to stay at home and raise our three children, Will, John, and Lauryn. When our youngest was in fourth grade, I started subbing in the diocese. It felt so right to be back in the classroom. After 4 years of subbing, the Lord guided me to apply for a permanent teaching position. I am so thankful that Precious Blood was his plan for me. I absolutely love teaching first grade here at PB. It is so wonderful to teach the young children especially since my own are grown.
