  Hello! I am Mrs. Schudt, formerly known as Miss Barlow.
  
  I am excited for this school year! This is my second year of teaching fifth grade. I absolutely love my job and I am beyond thrilled to be your child’s teacher for this school year. It is an honor to be working here at MPB and I am looking forward to getting to know you and your child better throughout the school year.
  
  I grew up near the South Bend, IN area. I grew up homeschooled, but I took two classes at my local high school to qualify for the basketball team. I love basketball and any sport! Growing up I loved volunteering at my church to teach CCD to 2nd graders and I loved teaching basketball to elementary students during summer camps. This encouraged me to become a teacher and since then I haven’t looked back. Having the opportunity to share my love for learning with young and creative minds is truly a gift from God. I know that I am living out God’s calling for me every day by being here at MPB.
  
  Now that I no longer play basketball, I spend a lot of time running and swimming. I still love living a healthy lifestyle and sometimes I still shoot a few hoops! My husband and I enjoy going for morning walks before we leave for work. I also enjoy taking time to read, spend time with Jesus, cook with my husband, and eat lots of pizza! I look forward to sharing my knowledge, faith, and love of learning with your child this school year! Sincerely,
