Partnerships with St. Joseph
Hospital and the University of Saint Francis expose children to a wide
variety of opportunities. Christian service projects are a part of
everyday for students at Most Precious Blood School.

Academically Speaking
Most Precious Blood School provides a balanced
literacy approach to the Language Arts.
The Accelerated Reader program allows students to read and grow at their own pace. Algebra is offered in Eighth Grade.
A hands-on Science curriculum
lets students really get involved.
Additional courses are also offered weekly at
Most Precious Blood School, including Art, Library,
Physical Education, Health, Music, and Computers.
Students in
Grades 6-8 benefit academically through electives. Electives are
offered in the areas of Robotics, Advanced Band, Strategy, Future City,
Student Council and Map, Compass & GPS. Choir is also offered to
students in Grades 6-8.

Technology Abounds
Every classroom is equip with multiple computers and internet capability. A complete computer lab gives each student a chance to hone keyboarding skills and complete
web research on both MAC and IBM
computers.
In
2007 SmartBoards were installed in every homeroom. These
interactive whiteboards motivate students learning by combining the
simplicity of a whiteboard with the technology of a computer.
Students are able to write on the SmartBoards with LCD pens.
Complex lessons such as dissecting a frog can be shared with ease.
Students in
Grades 6-8 have the opportunity to gain a better understanding of
computer programming through elective classes of Future City and
Robotics.
Television Studio Productions
Most Precious Blood School is the only
elementary school in its district to
offer a full television studio as part of its curriculum. Public
Service Announcement creation and other programming opportunities are available to students in grades
6-8.

All Day Preschool
and
Kindergarten Options
The Preschool program offers full
day options for 3, 4, and 5 year olds two, three or five days per week. A full day Kindergarten is also offered
every day. Before and
after school care is another option for working parents.
Athletics
Most Precious Blood School is proud of its
athletic program. A fully-functioning bowling alley is located
directly on the school campus. Athletic programs bring students
and families together.
Creativity is
Encouraged
Creativity is nurtured at Most Precious Blood
School. Whether through involvement with the Handbell Choir in
Middle School or Chimes in Fifth Grade, musical expression is
cultivated. A yearly Broadway musical production is one to the
many cultural highlights of the year and involves students at a variety
of grade levels.
Most Precious Blood School also offers
Beginning and Advanced Band, to students in Grades 4-8, as well as Choir to students in
Grades 6-8.
